(“MISMO”) has been successful in helping the real estate finance industry meet the challenges of the 21st century. Now as more organizations choose to adopt and implement MISMO’s voluntary data standards and schema (“MISMO Standards”), a common understanding of what it means for a product to comply with a MISMO standard is critical to achieving maximum use of MISMO standards across trading partners.

That’s why MXCompliance was created. Through this new service, you can earn certification trademarks that show vendors and lenders that you are MISMO compliant. And doing so is easy. The MXCompliance web site provides the services you can use to test your products, gain and maintain your certification, and promote that you are one of the key players in the future of the industry.

The “Service Descriptions” section further describes the services available to you. When you have decided that it’s time to test your products, you will need to establish an account through which you will purchase services you can use to test your products. Additionally, when you set up your account and purchase your services you can sign up to receive information on other services that will be released. The First Step
MISMO is pleased to offer MXCompliance to the industry. Just the first step in the goal of instituting standards throughout the industry, the launch of the Verification, Import and Export Services moves the industry toward maximizing reuse of technology between trading partners.

As the industry gains knowledge related to certification, the requirements will be strengthened so we can achieve our goal. MXCompliance will rely on MISMO and its workgroups to provide tougher reference standards as the MXCompliance Authority improves the certification infrastructure. So, as you evaluate the initial release please remember that this is the first step of our journey.
